Compressive Properties of Polyurethane Fiber Mattress Filling Material

There is an inevitable trend toward exploring new, environmentally friendly fibers that can be used as raw material for mattresses with moderate hardness and air-permeable characteristics. Ethylene-propylene side by (ES), high-shrinkage fibers, thermoplastic polyester elastomer (TPEE) chips were introduced into polyethylene glycol terephthalate (PET)/polybutylene (PBT) chip melt blending to modify PET/PBT fiber. The modified (hereinafter referred PLON) more suitable mattress filling than PET/PBT. To explore the compressive properties of PLON cushion made fiber expand scope cushion’s application, a layered test, classification test variance analysis comprehensively evaluate surface hardness, core bottom cushion. conclusions are: (1) materials support layer have significant effect on grade S. between spring coir; (2) when layer, it possesses higher supporting force coir characteristics light weight high resilience, which does not have; also softer mattress. As material, provides foam. Practical applications, densities structure clarified through above research, implications broader applications blocks in products.
